Saying goodbye to one of HFC's most successful teams,
Our '96 Blue Girls, coached by Henry Mpagi, is saying goodbye as
they have completed their showing at the Southern Regional's
with a win over the Premier League West Champions, Andromeda
West, and now turn to college for their next step in their life
journey. Only a few teams in our history share such a success
story on the fields. The '96 girls posted 3 State Championships
in a row over 2011, 2012, and 2013. Prior to that they were
State Finalists for 2009 and 2010. Few players are lucky enough
to win state and get into the Regional Championships. Three in
a row is a testament to the hard work, commitment to excellence,
and strong leadership both on and off the field. |
