several of the HFC teams and headed over to Atlanta this
past weekend. This team had players ranging from high
school freshman to seniors but played in a U19 bracket and

FC 93White Player
- Catherine Ledford
With a
3.8 GPA, it would be hard to say that Hazel Green senior
Catherine Ledford has anything but “the
books” on her mind. She does have one other thing on her
mind and it sounds like “soccer.” This senior stand-out has
lit-up the soccer field with her individual play, while
helping her team win some big games. She’s won championships
on the club level and is recognized for her strong
individual performances by being named to numerous
All-Tournament teams. As perfect as she is on the field,
she’s even more accomplished in the classroom. Catherine
continues to take Advanced Placement courses in History,
English and Math to help bolster her already impressive 3.8
GPA. Would you believe she’s had perfect attendance for the
past 11 years? Without any homework to make up, Catherine
spends time on the road picking up litter for the Adopt a
Mile litter patrol program. She also has volunteered to help
paint houses for the less fortunate. Congratulations,
Catherine!
